The Hayloft
Under the roof beams, with a skylight over the bed and the ridge in the gable window.
Nothing here starts before the sun does, and most guests fall into step by the second morning.
First light
The east terrace, blankets, and a pot of coffee that was started before you woke.
Long breakfast
Rye from our own oven, valley butter, eggs from four doors down the hill.
Out the door
Six marked trails begin at the boot room. Ilse packs the lunch; you carry it.
Heat, then cold
Cedar sauna, a spring-fed tub at 9 °C, and a bench that faces the last sun.
Lights out
We switch the terrace lamps off so the sky can switch on. Bed follows naturally.
Pick how much mountain you would like to wake up to.
Every room has a window seat, a wool-filled duvet and no television. Rates include breakfast, the sauna and the sunrise.
The Col
A corner room with two walls of glass and a private slice of the terrace for the early shift.
The Bunkhouse
Four built-in berths, each with its own porthole to the east. Made for families and rope teams.

Pick a morning. We will meet the last cable car with a lantern.
Cars leave Verel village every 20 minutes until 19:00. Two-night minimum, because nobody gets up for the first sunrise.
